| What suit
do I need to dive in Zakynthos?
It depends on the season, but a 7mm suit is more than enough.
In July and August, a3mm or 5mm suit is enough. For May or
October, we would suggest at least a 5mm suit (Long John and
top).
What suit can I rent?
A 6mm fullsuit with hood.
What tank can I use?
We rent 10 lt, 12 lt and 15-lt scuba Cylinders (Not Aluminum),
with DIN or INT valves, or with adaptors, with no price-difference
for any size of cylinder.
Are there any smaller tanks for children /teenagers?
Yes, for that reason we have also two 7 lt cylinders.
How about Night diving?
Hmmm, that’s a long story!!! Officially, Night diving
is not allowed in Greece, but on request we can always plan
one or more(Off the record!).
How many dive trips can we make per day?
At least 2.On the high season, even 3 or 4.Usually, we plan
one single dive and one double dive per day, and if needed,
we make more.
When do we leave for the dive trips?
At 9:30 and 14:30 is meeting time. After 20-30min. we leave,
after we check that everybody is ready.
When are we back from the dive?
Usually after 3 hours for a single dive, and 4 hours for
a double dive.
Are there dive-time limits?
No, only when we have 3 trips per day, where we stay max.
1 hour underwater.
What kind of Boat do we use?
We have 2 Dive boats! One 9m polyester boat for 20 divers
and one 6.20m RIB for 12 divers.
What kind of safety equipment is there on the boats?
Schwimmjackets(SOLAS), VHF, Mobile phone, First Aid Box,
Oxygen tank and mask, Firesignals and rescue floating devices.
What can I do with my children when I am diving?
Hotel Louis Zante Beach, has a professional Animation team,
with special Children animation programs , so you know that
your children are in safe hands, when you are diving.
For the customers of the Hotel, this service is free!!!
What do I do with my private equipment?
For our customers, we have a separate building next to the
beach, where our customers can wash, hang and store their
private equipment, so they avoid the transportation of their
fragile equipment. That building, is locked, and opens only
on request of the customers before and after the dive.
What other facilities can I find by DIVER`S PARADISE?
In front of the Dive Center, you can find Jimmy’s Watersports,
where you can rent a motorboat with your friends, so that
you can explore the islands and the deserted beaches of Laganas
Bay, on your own.
You can also find there Pedaloes, Kayak and Windsurf Boards,
so you can enjoy yourself but also have the privilege to see
the rare Carreta-Carreta Sea Turtles on your own.
Which price do I get?
We always offer the cheapest price, depending on the amount
of dives that you made.
Are there special prices for Dive groups or Dive
Schools?
Yes, for groups over 6 people (Instructor included), we always
make special offers for each group.
